Make a Bad Times Video with Two Pets

Use two separate pet photos for Double Trouble. Learn how to match angle and light so each dog or cat is easy to recognize.

Double Trouble gives two pets a shared scene. It needs two photos, one with each pet by itself. You can start with a dog and a cat, or two pets of the same kind that are easy to tell apart.

Choose the pair together

Lay the two photos side by side. Pick similar camera heights and even light on both faces. A close-up taken from above and a distant floor-level photo give very different views of the subjects. Keep the body and markings visible so a collar, ear shape or chest patch can help distinguish them.

Decide who starts the joke

Imagine one pet asking the question and the other delivering the reaction. A dog leaning toward the camera can be the eager one, with the cat's steady stare finishing the gag. Try “The household has formed a complaints committee.” That line gives both pets a reason to be in the shot without assigning dialogue the video may not include.

Choose a joint scene or separate clips

Watch Double Trouble and compare its two inputs before uploading. If you want each pet to have a full solo moment, order separate clips or plan them in the three-video bundle. Both approaches use the pets' own photos.
