How to Make a Bad Times Cat Video
Choose a cat photo that keeps its eyes, whiskers and markings clear. Build a dinner-time joke with the Dinner Is Late template.
A cat's patient stare can carry the whole Dinner Is Late scene. Think about the moment just before feeding time, when your cat is close enough to be noticed and still enough to look offended.
Let the face and ears tell the story
Pick a front or three-quarter view with the eyes, ears, whiskers and chest visible. A sharp photo of your cat on a chair works well. Skip a frame where it is curled into a ball or where an ear is hidden behind a blanket. If the eyes look soft when you zoom in, try a sharper frame from the same moment.
Use the room to separate the markings
Turn a dark cat toward soft daylight so the nose and whiskers stand out. A cream or white cat often has a clearer outline in front of a mid-tone wall than beside a blown-out window. If another pet is in the shot, choose a single-cat photo or give both pets a role.
Start with a small complaint
Try “Dinner was due one minute ago” or “Please escalate this to management.” Read the text once with the picture. If the caption already explains the reason for the stare, let the cat's expression supply the rest of the joke.
